Basri aka Bagong, the Poso Terrorist Inmate Declares Loyalty to Indonesia

Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Palu. One Poso terrorist inmate, Muhammad Basri bin Barjo aka Bagong, declares loyalty to the Unitary State of Indonesia.

The Responsible Person of Operation Control of Madago Raya of Chief of West Java Regional Police, Police Inspector General Rudy Sufahriadi, stated that the allegiance oath was conducted in Class 2A Special Prison of Karanganyar, Nusakambangan, Central Java.

"There has been an allegiance oath declaration to Indonesia and old allegiance removal by one terrorism inmate in Class 2A Special Prison of Karanganyar, Nusakambangan", the Chief of West Java Regional Police said to the press on Saturday (2/10/21).

Chief of West Java Regional Police, Police Inspector General Rudy Sufahriadi, stated that after declaring allegiance to Indonesia and leave his old allegiance, Basri then moved to B block for observation and preparation before being moved to Maximum Prison of Nusakambangan.

"Basri has changed his understanding since enrolling inter-inmate crowdsourcing programme held by the Special Task Force of the Special Detachment", he said.

Meanwhile, Deputy Chief of PR Task Force of Madago Raya Operation, Police Grand Commissioner Attendant Bronto Budiyono, warmly welcomed and appreciated the inmate who declared allegiance to Indonesia.

He hoped that all inmates could do the same thing. On the other side, Bronto advises the remaining four Poso terrorist members to surrender soon.

"I warmly welcomed what the inmate did in leaving old allegiance and declaring new allegiance to Indonesia", Bronto concluded.
