In order to support the provisions of the Implementation of Restrictions on Community Activities (PPKM) according to the Minister of Home Affairs No. 38 of 2021 regarding tourist attractions with a maximum capacity of 25% in order to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus, the Banten Regional Police will insulate vehicles at several tourist sites in the Banten area.
One of the locations that was blocked was Anyer Beach and Carita Beach, Serang, Banten because these two locations were the target of the community to be chosen as tourist attractions on weekends, therefore to prevent crowds causing clusters, the Banten Police carried out restrictions with capacity 25% maximum.
The Head of Public Relations of the Banten Regional Police, Pol. Grand Commissioner Attendant Shinto Bina Gunawan Silitonga, said that the Banten Police carried out an isolation pattern if there had been a build-up of 25%.
If it is observed that there has been a build-up of 25%, the officers will divert the flow by blocking and directing them to alternative roads, said the Head of Public Relations of the Banten Regional Police, Saturday (09/04/21).
For the isolation place in the Anyer area, it is at the JLS Cilegon Intersection and the Teneng Anyer Intersection and the blocking time is seen from the tourist density, when it is 25%, the insulation will be carried out.
"Yes, to reduce the crowds that create clusters in accordance with the provisions of the Minister of Home Affairs No. 38 of 2021 concerning Community Activity Restriction Enforcement Level 3 and Level 2, therefore the Banten Regional Police urges the public to obey government regulations to control the spread of Covid-19 in Banten Province," said the Head of Public Relations of the Banten Regional Police.
