Tribratanews.polri.go.id – Serang. During twelve days of the 2021 Ketupat Maung Operation, Banten Regional Police has turned around 14,997 vehicles consist of 5,898 two-wheeled vehicles, 8,880 four-wheeled vehicles, 172 bus/minibus units, and 47 trucks.
Chief of Public Affairs and Press Division of Banten Metropolitan Police, Grand Police Commissioner Edy Sumardi, said that during twelve days of operation, Banten Regional Police and their staffs had inspected 53,580 vehicles.
"Based on Anev's data, the most inspected vehicles is the one under the jurisdiction of Tangerang City Departmental Police, which is 16,642 vehicles", Chief of Public Affairs and Press Division of Banten Regional Police said on Tuesday (18/5).
Chief of Public Affairs and Press Division of Banten Metropolitan Police explains that the result is from 24 insulation checkpoints on both toll and arterial road and eight checkpoints on tourism objects. Nine checkpoints are on toll gates of Cikupa, Kedaton, West Balaraja, East Balaraja, Cikande, Ciujung, East Serang, West Serang, and Merak. Fifteen checkpoints are on the arterial roads under the jurisdiction of Banten Regional Police. Eight checkpoints are along the tourism object's main streets, such as Intersection of Banten Southern Causeway, Anyer, Carita, Tanjung Lesung, Ujung Kulon, Labuan, Citorek, and Bagedur.
Chief of Public Affairs and Press Division of Banten Regional Police also stated that they also conducted random rapid test during the insulation besides vehicle checking.
"During twelve days (of operation), we have conducted 3.276 rapid tests for the homecomers. Thank God, all tests turned negative. We also gave 23,888 face masks to the public", Chief of Public Affairs and Press Division of Banten Regional Police said.
Chief of Public Affairs and Press Division of Banten Regional Police ask all homecomers to do health check before returning home to avoid Covid-19 spreading to the non-homecomers.
