Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Today, the National Exploration Team of Journalists-Indonesian Journalists Association (JKW-PWI), which departed from the Press Council Building in Jakarta, received an extraordinary response when crossing Banten Province.
The leadership of the Banten Regional Police facilitated the activities of The National Exploration Team of Journalists-Indonesian Journalists Association team that crossed their territory by providing escort starting from the Cikupa area to the Merak Port.
The four journalists members of the Indonesian Journalists Association who carried out the expedition, namely Yanni Krishnayani, Agus Blues Asianto, Sony Wibisono and Indrawan Ibonk, felt the great attention of the Banten Police Chief, Pol. Inspector-General Rudy Heriyanto Adi Nugroho.
In a statement to reporters, the Head of Public Relations of the Banten Regional Police, Pol. Grand Commissioner Attendant Shinto Bina Gunawan Silitonga, representing the Banten Regional Police Chief, gave the escort after the Journalists' Nationality Exploration team entered the Banten Police's jurisdiction.
The route the team took while in Banten was Cikupa-Balaraja-Jayanti-Cikande-Kragilan-Ciruas-Serang City-Kramatwatu-Cilegon City-Merak Harbor. Furthermore, The National Exploration Team of Journalists-Indonesian Journalists Association team will cross the island of Sumatra to the city of Sabang, Aceh Province.
The Head of Public Relations explained that the escort activities provided were a form of concrete support for the Banten Police for the activities of journalists as police partners.
Yanni Krishnayanni, the only journalist who participated in the expedition, said she was pleased to receive the extraordinary response from the Banten Regional Police.
"Full control since Cikupa. We appreciate the welcome of the Banten Police Chief and his staff. Very humanist and professional," said Yanni Krishnayanni.
The National Exploration Team of Journalists-Indonesian Journalists Association team was released by Chairman of the Indonesian Journalists Association, Atal Depari, on Thursday (10/28/2021) morning, at the Press Council Building Jakarta.
The team will travel to explore 15 islands, 34 provinces and climb the seven highest mountains. The trip will end on February 9, 2022, to coincide with National Press Day 2022.
