Jasa Raharja Banten Branch in collaboration with Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University (Untirta) carried out the Safety Pioneer Campus (KPK) at the Untirta Campus Auditorium on Jalan Raya Palka Km 03 Pabuaran.
The KPK activity was attended by Untirta Chancellor Prof. Dr. H. Fatah Sulaiman, Director of Institutional Relations of PT Jasa Raharja Munadi Herlambang, Head of PT Jasa Raharja Banten Branch Dodi Apriansyah, Banten Traffic Police represented by Sub Directorate Head of Road Safety Banten, Police Commissioner Dodid Prastowo, Community Leader Embay Mulya Syarief, with participants from students Untirta as many as 150 people and dozens of students from other universities who participated in the Webinar.
The Head of Sub-Directorate Road Safety Area said that with Untirta being the Safety Pioneer Campus (KPK), Untirta students would become embryos of pioneers of traffic safety.
"Through this activity, UNTIRTA students will be used as embryos and pioneers of traffic safety in order to reduce the number of accidents which are dominated by the millennial generation," he explained.
Untirta Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Fatah Sulaiman, said he appreciated the Banten Police and PT activities. Jasa Raharja Banten Branch makes students the pioneer campus of traffic safety.
"This collaboration is beneficial so that students become pioneers or examples for the people of Banten to be orderly in traffic, through real approaches and steps so that the Untirta Campus is ready to be a pioneer of traffic safety according to applicable rules, during the current Covid-19 pandemic," he explained.
In this activity, Dodi Apriansyah gave material about the process of providing compensation and financing from PT. Raharja services to victims of traffic accidents. The activity ended with the pinning of the Traffic Safety Pioneer Pin to students by Police Commissioner Dodid and Dodi Apriansyah. This event was carried out following the Health protocol.
