Banten Regional Police Build Personnel Housing Close to the Community

inp.polri.go.id - Serang. Members of Banten Regional Police are getting closer to the community with construction of housing for Banten Police personnel in the vicinity of Serang City, Banten, in 2021.

 

 

 

Banten Regional Police Chief, Pol. General Inspector Dr. Rudy Heriyanto Adi Nugroho, said that the housing launch would be carried out by National Police Chief, on Friday, June 4, 2021.

 

 

 

Previously, Monday 31 May 2021, the National Police Chief, General Pol. Listyo Sigit Prabowo, will first inaugurate the Tangerang National Police Headquarters Precision Building, which is located in Tigaraksa, Tangerang Regency.

 

 

 

Banten Regional Police Chief accompanied by Human Resources' Operational Chief Bureau, Pol. Grand Commissioner Arif Fajarudin and Head of PR, Pol. Grand Commissioner Edy Sumardi said the construction of housing for members / goverment employees of Banten Regional Police in collaboration with PT. Dwi Griya Sejahtera and PT Bumi Berkah Hijau.

 

The total number of houses to be built in the jurisdiction of Banten Regional Police is 3,155 of the total 642 units ready for occupancy consisting of types 21/72, 29/60, 30/60, 30/72 and 36/72 with an area of 60.1. ha in three locations, namely, Sub-district Unyur, Districts Serang, then Sub-district Sepang, District Taktakan, and Sub-district Tegalsari, District Walantaka, Serang City.

 

 

 

According to Human Resources' Chief of Operational Bureau,  Pol. Grand Commissioner Arif, the number of personnel from Banten Regional Police and National Police ranks are currently 7,250 personnel and 32.56% or 2,631 personnel are on duty at Banten Police Headquarters and the rest are assigned to National Police ranks spread across National Police Headquarters.

 

 

 

Based on available data, not all members / civil servants of Banten Regional Police have their own houses.

 

 

 

"A total of 1,018 personnel does not have their own homes. They rented a house, boarded a house or were still at their parents' house," he concluded.

 

 

 

The Head of PR of Banten Regional Police stated that with affordable housing, it is hoped that members of National Police and state assistant who serve in the Police could have their own homes, one of the conveniences in getting this house consumers get a down payment (DP) for their first home ownership, then with ownership of the house itself, the police personnel could focus on carrying out their duties because they do not have to think about obligation to pay the contract and boarding house.
