The Mobile Brigade of National Police currently has a significant role in controlling the security situation, public order (sitkamtibmas), and humanitarian aid operations. Therefore, Sigit revealed that, currently, organizational restructuring or development is being carried out to face all the current challenges.
This was conveyed by Sigit when commemorating the momentum of the 76th Anniversary of the Mobile Brigade National Police Corps at headquarter, Kelapa Dua, Depok, Sunday (11/14/2021).
"So, we provide the best and fast service to people in need. Therefore, the presence of Mobile Brigade Corps in dealing with the security and security situation and activities that require the presence of Brimob in humanitarian operations can be carried out," said Sigit.
More profoundly, Sigit emphasized, the presence of Brimob during humanitarian operations, such as helping residents who were victims of natural disasters, ranging from floods, landslides and others, is a representation of the presence of the state when people need help.

"We ask for your support and prayers so that the National Police Mobile Brigade, both central and regional, can continue to exist and provide the best service for the community and the state," said the former Banten Regional Police Chief.
Regarding organizational development, Sigit stated that he is currently preparing to upgrade the status of the Mobile Brigade Corps Commander of the National Police to a three-star general or General Commissioner, which is currently held by a two-star general or Inspector-General.
According to Sigit, the organization's development was carried out because today, the Mobile Brigade Police Corps has increasingly heavy and complex responsibilities and challenges. Therefore, to answer all the challenges, the number of Mobile Brigade personnel will also be added in the Central, Eastern, Western, and National Capital Regions of Indonesia.
Currently in the progress, of course. We will improve Mobile Brigade with this development; we will push for several other stars, and also the Mobile Brigade Corps Commander itself we will increase to become three stars. Because his duties and responsibilities are getting heavier, said the former Police Chief of the Criminal Investigation Unit.

According to him, Brimob has always been at the forefront when facing all forms of high-escalation Kamtibmas challenges. Among them are eradicating terrorism, large demonstrations and humanitarian issues, and handling the Covid-19 pandemic.

In addition to the challenges mentioned above, Sigit reminded all ranks of the National police of Mobile Brigade Unit about the dynamics of the political situation in Indonesia that will be faced in the future. This is related to the upcoming 2024 election. Therefore, preparedness must start from now in order to prevent unwanted threats from occurring.
"Threats related to security and security issues are related to national activities and performance that need security and escort and also, of course, a series of future political activities which will certainly begin to take place either in the series of Legislative Election, Regional Election or the presidential election agenda itself.
