Tribratanews.polri.go.id – Bojonegoro. During the Covid-19 pandemic, it was increasingly difficult for people who could not afford it to meet their daily needs. Realizing this, the Bojonegoro Resort Police's Traffic Corps took the initiative to hand over essential food assistance in several places in the Bojonegoro Police jurisdiction, which is the East Java Regional Police.
The activity is a follow-up to the ASTUTI program led by the Bojonegoro Resort Police Chief, Pol. Grand Commissioner Attendant EG Pandia, this time was carried out by the Bojonegoro Resort Police Traffic Corps in Sumberagung Village and Ngablak Village, Dander District and led directly by the Head of the Registration and Identification Unit (Regident Head), Police Inspector First Class Luluk Sulistyo.
The Bojonegoro Resort Police Chief, through the Regident Head Office, explained that the implementation of this activity was a form of concern and the Great Attitude of Tulung Tinulung (ASTUTI) to others.
"According to the direction and program of the Head of the Police, namely ASTUTI, in handling Covid-19, there are many things we can do, including caring for humanity by providing basic food packages to underprivileged residents," explained the Regident Chief Unit.
The Regident Chief Unit hopes that this activity can help ease the burden on the poor during the coronavirus pandemic. In addition to assisting, his party also provides education to the public to always maintain health and prevent this dangerous virus's transmission, especially in the Bojonegoro area.
"Hopefully, it will be useful, and this corona outbreak will end quickly," he concluded.
One of the beneficiaries, fondly called Mbah Ismo (66), was very happy with this donation. However, he admitted that he did not think that the Bojonegoro Police Traffic Corps had also paid attention to the poor people's current challenging situation and conditions.
"I thank the police who have assisted. May God gives you smoothness and success," said Mbah Ismo, who lives in Sumberagung Village.
