Assisting Street Vendors and Stalls Affected by the Pandemic, East Kalimantan Regional Police Distributed 10 Tons of Rice and Cash of 1.2 Million Rupiah

Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Samarinda. Ten tons of rice and 1.2 million rupiahs of cash for capital addition was distributed by East Kalimantan Regional Police.

Deputy Chief of East Kalimantan Regional Police, Police Brigadier General Hariyanto, distributed the aid symbolically to 15 public representatives on Koperasi PKT Building on Thursday (23/9/2021).

The rice aid is from the central government. As many as 100 tons is distributed by East Kalimantan Regional Police simultaneously across East Kalimantan. Bontang City received 10 tons. Besides rice, East Kalimantan Regional Police also distributes 1.2 million rupiahs in cash to 75 street vendors and stall owners.

"The aid is called BTPKLW (Cash Aid of Street Vendors and Stall Owners) from the central government", Deputy Chief of East Kalimantan Regional Police said.

All recipients have been registered and verified to ensure on-target distribution. The one-star general hoped that the aid could alleviate people's burden on their daily lives.

"This pandemic's effects are felt from the economic sector, so I hope this aid could be beneficial", Chief of East Kalimantan Regional Police said.

As information, rice aid from the East Kalimantan Regional Police is distributed through Departmental and Sectoral Police in Bontang: Bontang Departmental Police distributes 3 tons, North Bontang Sectoral Police distrubuted 1.5 tons, West Bontang Sectoral Police distributed 1 ton, Marangkayu Sectoral Policr distributes 1.5 tons, and Muara Badak Sectoral Police distributed 1.5 tons.
