Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Jambi. Jambi Regional Police Chief, Pol. Inspector General A. Rachmad Wibowo with the Governor of Jambi, Al Haris again reviewed the dormitory of the Educational Quality Assurance Council (LPMP) which will be used for isolation, Thursday (07/29/21).
The location that will be used as a place of isolation responds to the increase in Covid-19 cases in Jambi Province to anticipate, so that Covid-19 patients won't self-isolate at home.
Jambi Governor Al Haris said that currently in Jambi City the spike in cases is quite high, it is feared that when patients do self-isolation in their homes, they cannot maintain distance and are not disciplined, so that a family cluster appears.
While reviewing the condition of the rooms in the Educational Quality Assurance Council, the Governor also said that we want to press the case down in this city. The point is that residents must want to be transferred from their homes to isolation places," said Al-Haris.
"At least in the Educational Quality Assurance Council complex, which is located on HM Yusuf Singadkane Telanai, Jambi City, there are around 192 rooms that can be used as isolation rooms for COVID-19 patients," continued the Jambi Governor.
Added by Al-Haris, this place had previously been used as a place to isolate Covid-19 patients. However, it was rejected by local residents. So it is only used as a place to isolate health workers after working in hospitals.
"If the public is given enlightenment, then they will not refuse the place to be used as a place of isolation for COVID-19 patients," he continued.
"In the same place, Jambi Regional Police Chief, Pol.
Inspector General A. Rachmad Wibowo said, this morning we also reviewed 5 locations that were used as isolation places for Covid-19 patients with a capacity (capacity) of approximately 450 peoples," concluded the Two-Star General.
Jambi Regional Police Chief, Pol. Inspector General A. Rachmad Wibowo, assessing that the Hajj hostel facilities are quite ready to accept COVID-19 patients if needed immediately.
"I think the facilities owned by the Jambi Province Hajj Dormitory are quite good and adequate, such as rooms that could accommodate 2-4 patients and an open yard that is wide enough for patients to do sports and sunbathe," said Two Star General.
For the information, the Jambi Province Hajj Dormitory through the Regional Office Head some time ago stated its readiness to accept Covid 19 patients as a means of quarantine and isolation.
