Tribratanews.polri.go.id- Kendari. The Regional Police of Southeast Sulawesi provided social assistance to medical personnel at Bhayangkara Hospital, Kendari City.
The assistance was handed over directly by the Head of the Southeast Sulawesi Regional Police, Pol. Inspector General Yan Sultra. Accompanied by the Deputy Chief of the Southeast Sulawesi Regional Police, Pol. Inspector General Waris Agono.
This benefit is given considering the situational conditions in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, where the role of health workers is at the forefront in serving and handling patients affected by the Corona virus.
"Some of the medical personnel had to sacrifice their lives and died while on duty because they were exposed to Covid-19," said the Head of the Southeast Sulawesi Regional Police, Pol. General Inspector Yan Sultra, Thursday (08/12/2021).
This assistance is given to doctors, nurses, laboratory analysts, to vaccinators where they have their respective roles under the auspices of agencies and the government to work hard in handling Covid-19 patients.
"I appreciate all medical personnel for their struggle in serving their duties during the pandemic. Hopefully what we do is useful for others," he said.
