Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Bandung. West Java Regional Police's Directorate of Traffic Security, Pol. Grand Commissioner Eddy Djunaedi claims that the odd-even implementation in the Puncak area, Bogor Regency, has succeeded in reducing community mobility by up to 25 percent.
The Director of Traffic for the West Java Regional Police said that this figure was based on an evaluation conducted at the Resort Police and Regional Police levels.
According to Pol. Grand Commissioner Eddy Djunaedi, although the decline was not too significant, it was constructive. Moreover, the peak area is often one of the points of congestion on weekends.
"In Puncak smooth, it is good, although the decline is only 20 to 25 percent. However, nevertheless, it is beneficial," said the Directorate of Traffic Security for the West Java Regional Police, Soekarno-Hatta street, Bandung City, Tuesday (09/21/21).
The odd-even application in the Puncak area is carried out at three entry points to the Peak. Several officers guard each point.
"It will continue every Friday-Sunday, including in the city of Bandung, and all tourist attractions have been carried out odd-even," he urged.
