The East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Regional Police have prepared 720 personnel and two bomb defuser robots in order to secure the G20 Summit in Bali and a side event in Labuan Bajo, West Manggarai Regency.
The two robots were prepared for the security of the G20 Summit and alerted during the troop deployment ceremony at the NTT Regional Police, Thursday (10/11).
The NTT Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Johanis Asadoma and the NTT Regional Police Deputy Chief, Brigadier General Heri Sulistiono, along with the NTT Regional Police Main Officials went to see and review the two robots. After the review, they are sure that the robots could work well.
The NTT Police Chief also checked water cannons, sniffer dogs, operational cars, ambulances, and personnel. Moreover, the NTT Police Chief asked his personnel not to make the slightest mistake and must be able to control themselves.
"The community is our employer, our master whom we must serve. Therefore, we must show good manners and ethics. If there is someone violates the law, they should be reminded politely. Do not use violence," said the NTT Police Chief, quoted from merdeka.com .
The NTT Police Chief explained that 720 personnel are from the NTT Police and the West Manggarai Police. Currently, all personnel are still on standby, including in Labuan Bajo.
"The troops are on standby here, ready to be moved to Bali and to Labuan Bajo," explained the NTT Police Chief.
The shift of troops to Labuan Bajo is carried out if one of the guests or heads of state visits the super priority tourism destination.
