Due to the incident, only four people left from the Poso terrorist members were still being chased by the personnel.
Ali Kalora was put into Poso Mujahidin Indonesian Timur (MIT) terrorist fugitive in 2016 during the Tinombala Operation. He replaced Santoso, aka Abu Wardah as the organisation's leader.
With the shooting of its two members, there are four members of the Poso MIT terrorist fugitives are still on the run. They are Askar aka Jaid aka Pak Guru, Nae aka Galuh aka Muklas, Suhardin aka Hasan Pranata, and Ahmad Gazali aka Ahmad Panjang.
Central Sulawesi Regional Police, Police Inspector General Rudy Sufahriadi, ensured that the chase towards the remaining MIT members is still being run despite their leader's demise in the said shootout incident.
