Ahead of the 75th Bhayangkara Day, the South Kalimantan Regional Police Holds a Covid-19 Vaccination

The Directorate of Community Development (Ditbinmas) of the South Kalimantan Regional Police held a Covid-19 vaccination activity in collaboration with the Indonesian Motorcycle Association (IMI) of South Kalimantan at the IMI South Kalimantan secretariat in Banjarbaru, Wednesday (06/16).


The Directorate of Community Development (Dirbinmas) of South Kalimantan Regional Police, Pol. Grand Commissioner Widiatmoko explained that this activity was in order to welcome the 75th Bhayangkara Day. This vaccine targets 1,000 participants and 726 who have registered since this morning.


"Seeing the enthusiasm of residents who are aware of the Covid-19 pandemic, I believe the target can be met," explained The Directorate of Community Development of South Kalimantan Regional Police.


To provide vaccinations, the South Kalimantan Regional Police have prepared 40 officers.


Chairman of IMI South Kalimantan, Edy Sudarmaji added that this activity was only for one day but if you see the enthusiasm of the people who come, it can be extended.


"The target is that there are 1,000 vaccines that have registered more than 700. Not to mention those who are following up," explained the Chairman of IMI South Kalimantan.


The Chairman of IMI South Kalimantan hopes that the public will continue to adhere to the health protocols of wearing masks, maintaining distance, and washing hands with soap.
