Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Indonesia National Police Headquarters organized ceremony to celebrate noble values of Tribrata today by washing Bhayangkara Corps banners (pataka/panji).
Head of the Public Affairs Division of Indonesia National Police, Inspector General Argo Yuwono, said the pataka/panji washing ceremony is mandatory tradition. The washing ceremony is carried out by Indonesia National Police ahead of the anniversary of Indonesia National Police which falls on July 1 every year.
"Glorifying Tribrata value is tradition that must be carried out by washing Indonesia National Police's banners (panji) which is a symbol to purify and cleanse oneself," Argo said in a written statement, Jakarta, Wednesday (06/23/2021).
According to Argo, pataka washing is guideline and spirit for every Indonesia National Police personnel to continue keeping the truth, carry out the main tasks of protecting, nurturing, serving and enforcing the law and performing service to community, nation and state.
Argo explained that by carrying out mandatory tradition, it became momentum for introspection and reflection for all Bhayangkara Corps soldiers in carrying out their duties.
Argo said, in the future he hopes public will give more trust to the police in maintaining security and order in this country.
"So that the Police in the future can carry out their main duties to maintain security and public order in a professional manner," Argo concluded.
