Tribratanews.polri.go.id – Jayapura. The Armed Criminal Group (KKB) continued their shooting action in Intan Jaya that caused two people to be shot, and one of them died.
Chief of Nemangkawi PR Task Force, Police Grand Commissioner Ahmad Musthofa Kamal, stated that the KKB shot Military Area Command Outpost and Sugapa Sectoral Police which caused the person to shoot back and turn into a shootout.
“During the shootout, two children and their parents were doing activities around their house and became the target of the KKB. Those two kids are known to have been shot. One of them died and one shot in the back”, the Chief of Nemangkawi PR Task Force said.
Furthermore, the victim’s family wanted to bring two of their sons to the Public Health Centre, but there were no medical workers so that they returned home. At night, the family reported it to Sugapa Sectoral Police.
Besides the general public, in the afternoon, there was an attack incident towards patrolling Armed Forces personnel.
“For now, the Armed Forces-Police joint personnel is still chasing and arresting to anticipate security and order disturbance by KKB”, Chief of Nemangkawi PR Task Force said.

“We invite all people and stakeholders to keep supporting Armed Forces-Police effort in keeping security and order situation so that development and welfare of Intan Jaya people could be materialised”, Police Grand Commissioner Ahmad Musthofa Kamal concluded.
