Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Pekanbaru. Police post (Pospol) in Panton Rieu, West Aceh, was shot by unknown people (OTK). The Aceh Regional Police is now hunting down the perpetrator.
"Aceh Regional Police deployed team to hunt the suspected perpetrator", Chief of PR Agency of Aceh Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Winardy, said on Thursday (28/10/21).
Chief of PR of Aceh Regional Police added that Police is still investigating the crime scene by collecting evidence and checking witnesses.
According to him, the shooting was occurred in pospol of Gampong Manggi, Panton Rieu district, West Aceh regency, at 03.15 on Thursday (28/10/21).
"From the crime scene, Police found bullet shells and projectiles on the pospol walls and the people's cars parking around the pospol", he said.
"There are no casualties, and we are inventorying material losses", he continued.
On the same occasion, the Chief of PR said that Aceh Regional Police regretted the shooting incident. "We regret that there are people who conducted actions that could disturb community security and order. Police are keeping hunting for the perpetrator. We advised people to stay calm and not be provoked", Chief of PR of Aceh Regional Police concluded.
