inp.polri.go.id - Banda Aceh. To anticipate the outbreak of Covid-19 because of Omicron, Aceh Head of Public Relations Regional Police implore the community to adhere to the health protocols and get their vaccinations right away, either dose I, dose II, or dose III or booster.
That statement was released in conference pers regarding daily vaccination in Aceh.
Head of Public Relations (Kabid Humas) Commissioner Winardy explained that the new variant, Omicron, has faster transmission than the other variants. Thus, the best course to handle the situation is to adhere to the restrictions and get vaccinated.
“Omicron can spread four times faster than the previous variants. One of our efforts to prevent it is by obeying the health protocols and getting vaccinated,” explained the Police Intermediate Officer.
He adds that the daily vaccination Polda Aceh has reached 32,692 people as of 8 February 2022.
The number consisted of dose one for 15,952 people, dose two for 21,801 people, and dose three or booster for 1,581 people.
The Akabri graduate in 1998 also detailed the vaccinations for children aged 6-11 years, with dose one for 252,124 people and dose two for 2297.
For the elderly, 269,485 people were injected with the first dose, 96,108 people for the second dose, and 750 people for booster.
