Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Surabaya. Probolinggo Police Chief, Pol. Grand Commissioner Attendant Teuku Arsya Gaddafi inaugurated the Semeru Merdeka vaccine booth or mobile vaccine car, which was initiated by the Probolinggo Police, at the Probolinggo Police Headquarter Field, Monday (09/06/2021).
This is done to support the government's program in realizing herd immunity in East Java, especially Probolinggo Regency.
The Merdeka Semeru Vaccine Outlet Car will later travel around Probolinggo Regency to visit suburban communities, market traders, or serve people who have not vaccinated.
The Probolinggo Resort Police Chief, Pol. Grand Commissioner Attendant Teuku Arsya Gaddafi explained, 2 units of the Semeru independent vaccine booth are currently available. This car contains health workers, prepared vaccines, and members of the National Armed Forces and National Police, which is intended to accelerate vaccination achievements in Probolinggo Regency. The targets are people who are on the outskirts, who cannot attend the vaccination campaign, such as fishing communities, trading communities in markets, and people with disabilities.
“People could call 110 or contact Neighbourhoods, Noncommissioned Law Enforcement Officer Posted In Villages, Community Police Officers, or officers at the Community Health Centers to register for vaccinations. Then this car will go there and we will target 2000 vaccines per day to be achieved.” said the Resort Police Chief.
The Probolinggo Resort Police Chief also added, with the presence of the Semeru independent vaccine booth, it is hoped that it can form herd immunity for the people of Probolinggo Regency in order to realise Healthy Probolinggo towards Strong Indonesia.
