Pol. Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo said that this activity was held in order to support and succeed the national Covid-19 vaccination program.
"With the formation of the Vaccination Battalion, it is hoped that it will be able to synergize and collaborate with local governments and other stakeholders to increase vaccination attacks for the people of Central Kalimantan," explained Two Star General.
The Central Kalimantan Regional Police Chief emphasized that with this vaccination management arrangement, the target achievement of 14 thousand vaccines a day in Central Kalimantan Province could be exceeded.
"We will deploy 247 personnel as Vaccination Battalions who will work in 13 districts and one city to make vaccination targets successful in Central Kalimantan Province," said the Indonesian Military Academy graduate in 1990.
