To support the government's program and realize the acceleration of vaccination in all areas of Central Kalimantan Province, the Central Kalimantan Regional Police distributed 500 doses of the Covid-19 vaccine to the South Barito Departemental Police, which was held at the Administrative Organizing Unit of Driver's license Building of the South Barito Resort Police Headquarters, Friday (01/10/2021).
In the symbolic handover of the vaccine by the Chief of Central Kalimantan Regional Police, Police Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo, to the Head of the South Barito Departemental Police, Police Grand Commissioner Attendant Agung Tri Widiantoro, accompanied by the South Barito District Secretary Edi Purwanto and Head of Health Department Daryomo Sukiastono.
In his remarks, the Chief of Central Kalimantan Regional Police said that efforts to accelerate vaccination were continuously intensified by the Central Kalimantan Regional Police and their staff and all relevant stakeholders. As a result, the Central Kalimantan region would achieve the vaccination target, even exceeding the target.
"We handed over 500 doses of vaccine for the Covid-19 vaccination activity in Gunung Bintang Awai District, South Barito Regency, which will be held on Sunday (3/10/2021). Vaccine outlets that the TNI-Polri has prepared are spread throughout South Barito Regency," added the Chief of Regional Police.
"For the South Barito Regency area, we can continue to accelerate the vaccination program for the community, so that communal immunity in the community can be realized and the Covid-19 pandemic can be controlled," concluded the Chief of Central Kalimantan Regional Police.
