Tribratanews.polri.go.id. - Jakarta. Academician from UPN Veteran Jakarta, Danis Tri Saputra Wahidin, appreciated the performance of Chief of Indonesian National Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, who has been inscribed in the first 100 days of his leadership.
"The Indonesian National Police’s step deserves to be appreciated by the public because it can bring justice to the community," Danis explained.
This Political Science lecturer said society, especially academicians, must be fair in assessing the police work.
"When the Indonesian National Police takes good steps and supports the justice establishment, it must be appreciated and supported. I hope in the future there will be no more people who become victims of land mafia," he explained.
Danis mentioned the Indonesian National Police is serious in eradicating land mafia actions, particularly as it has become special focus of President Joko Widodo.
Previously, it was widely reported the Chief of Indonesian National Police had instructed all his staff not to hesitate to seriously investigate land mafia cases throughout Indonesia.
"This effort is in line with instructions from the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo who focusses on eradicating land mafia practices in Indonesia," as said by the Chief of Indonesian National Police.
Therefore, Sigit instructed all his staff to work optimally in processing land mafia cases.
The Chief of Indonesian National Police also emphasized police to take action against any intellectual actor behind the land mafia syndicate.
"Since the issue of land mafia is the President's concern, we should process the case till it’s complete, whoever the backing is," The Chief of Indonesian National Police said.
