Grand Commissioner Sambodo Purnomo Yogo explained that his party had deployed hundreds of personnel to guard the crowd and patrol during the crowd free night in the Jakarta area. "There are 580 joint personnel from the National Armed Forces, National Police, Municipal Police and the Transportation Service which we divide into two for large-scale patrols," he explained, Friday (09/10/21).
Pol. Grand Commissioner Sambodo Purnomo Yogo also said that the large-scale patrol consisted of disbanding crowds and enforcing health protocols in places that often had the potential to cause crowds. "Meanwhile, some other personnel are placed in four crowd-free night areas, namely the Kemang area, SCBD, Asia Africa and Sudirman-Thamrin," he explained.
The Greater Jakarta Metro. Regional Police's Directorate of Traffic Security added that the implementation of the crowd free night will be carried out in two stages. Namely at 10.00 PM - 12.00 PM in the form of loose insulation where people can still pass through the four areas.
However, at 12.00 AM-04.00 AM, a total closure will be carried out in four areas. Only emergency vehicles such as ambulances, National Armed Forces and National Police, and hotel residents and guests in the area are allowed to pass.
