Ahead of the Indonesian League 1, which will bring together the Bali United teams against Persik Kediri, 341 joint Indonesian National Armed Forces-Indonesian National Police personnel are prepared to guard the match on August 27, 2021, at the Gelora Bung Karno stadium.
Head of Public Relations Division of Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Yusri Yunus, said the total number of joint personnel deployed was 341. They were deployed to secure the match as well as oversee the implementation of health protocols.
"We have dispatched a total of 341 personnel for security. In addition, we have a joint agreement with the Chief of Indonesian National Police and the Minister of Youth and Sports regarding permits with strict health protocols," explained the Head of Public Relations Division of Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police, Thursday (26/8/2021).
The Head of Public Relations Division of Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police said that the inaugural League 1 match was not allowed to have spectators based on the agreement. As a result, only 229 players and team officials are permitted to enter the arena.
"The audience will be removed, only 229 players and officials, with the condition that all of them are second vaccines and antigens," explained the Head of Public Relations Division of Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police.
