Tribratanews.polri.go.id – Mimika. In the middle of the increasing Covid-19 pandemic, the Sabhara (Quick Response) Unit of Mimika Police patrolled and distributed face masks to the people on Monday (02/08/21).
The face mask distribution targeted the visitors and sellers at the Timika Central Market.
Chief of Sabhara Unit, Police Commissioner Attendant Rosman, said that besides distributing face masks, Police also appealed to the public to adhere to Health Protocols by wearing face masks when going outside.
"People must wear masks during outdoor activities, wash their hands, and keep their distance", Chief of Sabhara Unit said.
Meanwhile, Police gave the mask to people not wearing face masks and educating the visitors about the Covid-19 transmission prevention for face mask distribution.
