Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Deputy Chief of INP, Police Commissioner General Gatot Eddy Pranowo along with main officials from the Indonesian National Police Headquarters carried out Eid al-Fitr 1444 Hijri prayers at the Al Ikhlas Mosque, Police Headquarters.
The Eid al-Fitr prayer was led by Ustaz Agustiar. While the preacher on duty was Prof. Dr. Muhammad Irfan Helmi who is the Dean of the Faculty of Dawan at the State Islamic University (UIN) Salatiga, Central Java (Central Java).
In his sermon, the preacher mentioned that Eid al-Fitr invites people to reflect on themselves and to what extent they can balance their characteristics. Thus he can become back to himself that was created by Allah SWT.
“If a human can win over his physical interests, then he can appear as a human figure with his humanity. However, if they cannot overcome their physical interests, then their human character will disappear, "explained the preacher during the Eid al-Fitr prayer.
Khatib reminded us, the momentum of Eid al-Fitr is the right moment to forgive each other. Forgiving yourself is one of the things that are not easy because only big-hearted people do that.
