Indonesian SAR Team Continues Detection and Assistance in Turkey Earthquake

Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The INP Health Team is continuing to assist earthquake victims in Turkey. The INP team, which is part of the Indonesian SAR Team, has conducted detections in the Antakya area.

"The SAR and K-9 teams have detected in the Antakya area at the Hatay location from 10.30 to 15.00 local time (14.30 - 19.00 WIB)," said The Head of the Public Information Bureau, Police Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan on Saturday (18/2/23).

Ahmad Ramadhan said that at 09.15 the team had moved to the predetermined location of the incident. Then continued detection with the help of K-9 in two buildings where it was suspected that there were still victims buried.

The search for victims was completed until 13.30 local time. And the detection results found no additional victims.

This Saturday, the National Police Health Team has been in Turkey for five days. They have carried out a series of relief activities, to be precise at the Field Hospital location in Hatay City.

"During the activity, the situation was safe and under control," said Karopenmas added.
