The Minister of PPPA Stressed the Importance of Health Access to The Community

Therefore, the momentum of Bali's revival along with the coming of the new normal era must also include strengthening the health sector. Especially for the health services open access for women and children as a strategic group in society

According to the Minister of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (PPPA) I Gusti Ayu Bintang Darmawati, strengthening the health sector that serves women and children will have a large and long-term multiplier effect.

When inaugurating the Intibios Lab, Clinic, and Pharmacy in Denpasar, Bali, the Minister of PPPA said that Intibios' presence in Denpasar, which is the epicenter of Indonesian tourism, has strategic significance. The effects of Denpasar's public health will have an impact on the revival of Bali's tourism and economy.

"If Bali is healthy, and their women and children in Bali are also well, Bali's tourism and the economy will grow even more rapidly. The community would feel the impact as well. The rise of tourism, the growth of the economy, and the prosperity of the community will be felt by the community. It's like an unbroken circle," said Minister Bintang, Monday (28/3/2022).

“I really appreciate it, because it will open access to health services for women and children. Medical tests for women and children can prevent diseases and other health problems that will have an impact on the stability of households and communities. Preventing the disease in women and children not only press the spending on health sectors, but also keeps people's money, time, and energy to be focused on more productive activities," he added.

Intibios Lab, Clinic & Pharmacy itself is a national network of integrated health services. Initially, several entrepreneurs, doctors, and laboratory experts collaborated to build a laboratory to help in dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia.

“Strengthening the health sector will not only have an impact on individual health but also household and community productivity.
