West Java Police Hunts Down the Alley Murderer

Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Bandung.   The West Java Regional Police dispatched a team to help the Cimahi Police in hunting down the perpetrator who stabbed a girl, PS (12), to death in Cimahi City, West Java, Wednesday (19/10) at around 19:00 WIB.

Reported from jpnn.com, the Head of Public Relations of the West Java Police, Commissioner Ibrahim Tompo said investigators had already gathered some clues to the identity of the alleged perpetrator, although the police are still investigating.

"We are still following up the case and the perpetrator are still being chased," explained the Head of Public Relations of the West Java Police, Friday (21/10/22).

The stabbing is thought to have occurred on Wednesday (10/19) at around 19:00 WIB. The victim was allegedly stabbed when she was about to go home after reading the Koran at the mosque. The victim was allegedly stabbed after coming out of a narrow alley on Mukodar street, Cimahi City, West Java. The stabbing was caught on CCTV video.

The CCTV footage shows the suspect chasing the victim after getting off his motorbike. After allegedly being stabbed by the perpetrator, the victim then tried to save herself by running to her house. Unfortunately, her life could not be saved after being rushed to hospital.

The Head of Public Relations of the West Java Police confirmed that the police carried out a series of processes to be able to uncover the identity of the perpetrator, as well as the motive behind the stabbing.
