Tribtanews.polri.go.id – The National Police Headquarters managed to arrest one of the top gambling dealers, Apin BK. Apin BK is a gambling dealer who is linked with the 303 consortium which was previously viral because it was suspected to involve one of the high ranking police officials, FS.
The National Police Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, himself stated that the arrest of Apin BK proved to be quite difficult. The reason is, since he was listed as a wanted man, he fled to various countries, until his eventual arrest.
"A wanted person, on behalf of Apink BK who had fled to Singapore and Malaysia, was successfully secured due to our cooperation with the scheme of police to police," he explained, Friday (14/10/22).
Apin BK is strongly suspected of operating the largest online gambling sites in North Sumatra named LEBAH4D, DEWAJUDI4D and LARIS4D.
This arrest was praised by the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs, Mahfud MD. Mahfud MD said that the arrest of bookies was never easy. Moreover when the arrest took place abroad. It took a long process until he was able to be brought back home.
"It is not easy to arrest a suspect who have fled abroad if the law enforcement did not take the case seriously, a strong network, and able to explain to other countries to help arrest them," said Mahfud MD, Saturday (15/10/22).
