This award was given to Commissioner I Ketut because he was able to make the recruitment of South Sulawesi Police to be more transparent.
"The award was given for the attitude and integrity of Commissioner Yudha who tried to make the recruitment process to be transparent and not tarnished with bribes," said General Chairperson of Friends of the Indonesian Police, Fonda Tangguh in his speech.
S.I.K.,
Fonda Tangguh explained that the award was indeed dedicated to all members of the National Police who had performed extraordinarily. Because, according to him, there are still many police officers who work professionally and try to provide good service to the public.
“This award (SPI Award) is dedicated to 430 thousand members of the National Police who have served with their best. To them (the Bhayangkaras) who work every day for the public interest and law enforcement. There are still a lot of Policemembers who have integrity, attitude, and professionalism in serving the public interest,” explained Fonda Tangguh.
The former youth activist then praised the leadership of the National Police Chief Listyo Sigit Prabowo, who prioritized public services and community participation. It was proven that the National Police Chief did not hesitate to fire his own personnel who violates the law.
In line with the statement from Fonda, the Head of General Information of the National Police, Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan, emphasized that the National Police Chief is indeed committed to making the National Police institution more transparent and cleaner. He even ensured that the National Police Chief did not hesitate to impose sanctions and even fire members of the National Police who were proven to have committed violations.
