The Indonesian National Police Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, summons all heads of the regional unit for analysis and evaluation meeting in Jakarta, Wednesday (14/12/). The meeting was to ensure a professional security operation in domestic and international events.
“Also, we are aware that the General Elections is ahead of us, that truly affects the tension of the country. We want to make sure everything related to security measures, be it preventive, pre-emptive, and measures to prevent polarization is secured. We want to maintain the unity of the country by involving and preparing all elements of the country,” says General Listyom quoted from detik.com.
He emphasized that all cases that caught the attention of the mass to be immediately resolved.
He then says that the 2022 G20 Security Operation could become their staple in securing international events in Indonesia in the future.
“Those has become our best experience and we need to replicate it in future on another international events that would be held here. Indonesia has become one of the main strength of ASEAN, and there would also international sporting events that we need to secure,” he says in his conclusion.
