Tribratanews.polri.go.id – Lombok Timur. To celebrate the 77th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia, the West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Police Chief, Inspector General Drs. Djoko Poerwanto led the flag ceremony at Bukit Selong, Sembalun Lawang Village, Sembalun District, East Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Province, Friday (12/8/2022).
"Today, our activity is to fly the flag at Bukit Selong, Sembalun, to welcome the celebration of the 77th Indonesian Independence Day in 2022," said the Police Chief.
The arrival of the NTB Police Chief and his entourage was warmly welcomed with the traditions of Sembalun by the Sembalun community. Although the locations is difficult to reach, the NTB Police Chief and his entourage kept trying to climb the hill to be able to raise the flag in that place.
“Ofcourse its tiring and hard to get to this place, but because of our determination to fly the flag, although the hill is high, we kept moving,” he said
