Saudi Arabia Government Gifts 3000 Koran and a Ton of Dates

Tribratanews.polri.go.id -   The government of Saudi Arabia gave one ton of dates and 3,000 copies of the Al-Quran Mushaf for Indonesia which was handed over to the Ministry of Religion (Kemenag) by the Religious Attache of the Saudi Arabian Embassy in Jakarta, Sheikh Ahmad Essa Alhazmi.

Sheikh Ahmad Essa Alhazmi said the gift was handed over to the Ministry of Religion which oversees Islamic Community Organizations (Ormas), Islamic Universities, and Islamic Boarding Schools to the poor. Thus, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia prioritizes the program for the Ministry of Religion.

"This aid is a gift from the muhsinin and donors of Saudi Arabia. From the aid, there are 150 food packages, 1 ton of dates as a gift, and 3,000 copies of the Koranic Mushaf," explained the Religious Attache of the Saudi Arabian Embassy, Friday (8/4/22).

The Religious Attache of the Saudi Arabian Embassy also conveyed the greetings from high ranks of Saudi Arabia to the Ministry of Religion. "Greetings from the king of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Greetings from the Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Indonesia. Greetings also from the kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Ministry of Religion, hopefully, the program can be run well. And hope to get blessings and ma'unah from Allah SWT," he explained.

In response to this, the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Religion, Nizar Ali said that his party warmly welcomes the ranks of the Saudi Arabian government for providing this gift to Indonesia. "The Indonesian government welcomes the aid provided. On behalf of the Indonesian government through the Ministry of Religion, we thank you for the gifts. This is very beneficial for the Indonesian people," he explained.

Therefore, the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Religion would like to thank all levels of the Saudi Arabian government, especially King Salman who has provided unexpected assistance to the Indonesian nation. "We also thank King Salman, for his continuity in assisting the Indonesian people.
