Cianjur Water Police Found the Victim Swept Away by the River

Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Cianjur.   The personnel of the Cianjur Water Police managed to find the boy who was swept away in the Cinangerang river. He was found on Friday (14/10) evening. It is known that the boy had been missing for about a week since Friday (7/10/22).

Head of Public Relations of the West Java Police, Commissioner Ibrahim Tompo, said that the search was part of the commitment by the police to always be present for the community who needs help.

The victim, M. Rizki Reyhan (10), was found by a persone who were looking for fish in the waters of Meong Cave, Sarongge Village, Bobojong Village, Mande District, Cianjur Regency at around 17:30 WIB.

Cianjur Police Chief, AKP Heri Zanuar, said the boy is hyperactive. The boy himself is from Bojongrahong Wetan Village, Cianjur. Before he was swept away, he was playing on the riverbank while the water debit was increasing gradually and raining.

"The victim was found by a person who were looking for fish. The boy was found approximately 11 kilometers from where he was initially swept away," explained the Cianjur Police Chief of Police.

The Cianjur Water Police personnel, together with the Bandung SAR team, Jangari Satpel UPTD LLASDP West Java Transportation Agency immediately evacuated the boy. He was evacuated to Jangari Pier and then handed him over to his family using an ambulance.
