South Sulawesi Police Held Blood Donation Program to Celebrate the 71st Police Public Relations Anniversary

Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Makassar.  In celebrating the 71st Anniversary of Police Public Relations, the South Sulawesi Police Public Relations Division, in collaboration with the Health and Medical Division of South Sulawesi Regional Police, and the South Sulawesi Red Cross held blood donations program.

The program took place at the Mappaoddang Hall of the South Sulawesi Regional Police, Perintis Kemerdekaan street, Makassar City, Monday (24/10/2022).

Head of Public Relations of the South Sulawesi Police, Commissioner Komang Suartana said the social activities that they held, blood donation program and the distribution of daily supplies, were carried out as part of a series of the 71st National Police Public Relations Anniversary which will fall on October 30th.

"The voluntary blood donation and the provision of daily supplies are part of a series of the anniversary of the National Police Public Relations," explained the Head of Public Relations of the South Sulawesi Police.

Quoted from Suarapena.com, the public and journalists also took part in the blood donation program, apart from the South Sulawesi Regional Police personnel themselves. From the results of these donors, 111 bags of blood were collected, and have met the target of the Red Cross.

The South Sulawesi Police Chief expressed his hope that the synergy between the police and journalists would continue to be strenghtened. "Hopefully, the relationship between the police and journalists will become a symbiotic mutualism of mutual need," said the South Sulawesi Police Chief.
