Tribratanews.polri.go.id – Jakarta. A total of 366 traffic accidents resulted in 50 severe injuries, 539 light injuries, and 54 fatalities recorded on Tuesday (25/4/23) during the Eid return flow, also known as arus balik.
The data was revealed by Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan, the Task Force Head of Public Relations for Operation Ketupat 2023, during a press conference held on the following day (26/4/23).
“On Tuesday (25/4/23), we recorded a total of 336 traffic accidents,” he said.
Emphasizing the importance of travel safety, he implored travelers to prioritize their well-being and ensure their vehicles are in optimal condition before embarking on their return journey.
In addition, the police are ready to assist the public in reaching their destination safely.
“To obtain traffic conditions, the public can contact the call center at 1-500-669 or the SMS center at 9119 for information on traffic conditions,” he concluded.
