Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Tangerang. Responsive in handling cases involving children, the Tangerang Police (Polresta Tangerang) was awarded by 2 institutions at once. The two institutions are the National Commission for Child Protection and the Celebrity Police.
Tangerang Police Chief (Kapolresta Tangerang), Commissioner Zain Dwi Nugroho, S.H., S.I.K., M.Sc., explained that the Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrim) of Polresta Tangerang was considered responsive and fast in handling child abuse cases, which can be immediately revealed and resolved.
Meanwhile, the Traffic Corps (Satlantas) of Polresta Tangerang is also said to have made a positive contribution to children in the region, because they consistently carry out traffic education programs for children through the Friendly Traffic Program or Child Friendship Program.
"The National Commission for Child Protection and the Celebrity Police give their appreciation for our achievement. For this, we will continue to provide our best service for the community," said Polresta Tangerang.
Kapolresta Tangerang Police Chief then advised his staff not to be complacent. The awards must be used as a momentum to improve their performance in serving the community.
"We will continue to improve our service to the community as our duty and responsibility to the institutions and the country," he said.
