Bengkulu Police Criminal Investigation Unit have succeeded in revealing the syndicate of diesel fuel (BBM) embezzlement with a weight around 1 ton.
The Criminal Investigation Unit of Bengkulu Police, AKP Welliwanto Malau stated that the adulterated diesel fuel came from the Lubuklinggau area, South Sumatra to be distributed to Bengkulu.
In this disclosure, his party have secured the driver and his assisstent who was filling the two jerry cans of diesel from the car that they have modified.
"This raid was carried out near the industrial warehouse area of the Malay village of Bengkulu City on Friday morning," said Head of the Bengkulu Police Criminal Investigation Unit, Sunday (11/9).
The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Bengkulu Police said that after undergoing an inspection at the Bengkulu Police Headquarters, the 10 tons of diesel fuel brought by the driver and the assistant would be sent to a number of agents in the Bengkulu area.
"The diesel comes from Lubuklinggau City, South Sumatra and is suspected to be the result of crude oil distillation," said the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit at the Bengkulu Police.
