In this disclosure, the police arrested four suspects at two different locations and at different times.
The Head of Public Relations (Kabid Humas) of Polda Sumut, Commissioner Hadi Wahyudi explained that the disclosure of narcotics was carried out in Besitang Subdistrict and Langsa City.
In Beistang Subdistrict, the authorities arrested the suspects RJ, (30) a resident of Meunasah Panton Labu Village, Tanah Jambo District, Aceh Utara Regency, and Z (27) a resident of Cot Biek Village, Tanah Jambo Aye Subdistrict, North Aceh.
"Along with the suspect, we also secured 20 packs of Chinese tea packaging containing 20 kg of methamphetamine and one black Toyota Innova car with the plate number B 1659 KYC," stated Commissioner Hadi Wahyudi, Monday (04/04/22).
At the second location of the raid, the police arrested two other suspects, namely MR (36), a resident of Payah Puntong Hamlet, Tualang Baro Village, Manyak Payet Aceh Tamiang District, and DW (38), a resident of Banta Ahmad Hamlet, Bandar Baru Village, Bandahara Aceh Tamiang District.
From the two crime scenes, the officers managed to secure 79 packs of Chinese tea packaging containing 79 kg of methamphetamine, one Toyota Innova Reborn BK 1807 AAK car, and one white Toyota Avanza BL 1067 F car.
"The disclosure thanks to the public who report the delivery of narcotics to Medan," said the North Sumatran Police Intermediate Officer.
Kabid Humas added that the police continued to investigate the suspect's information who allegedly had a network with Richie Juwanda and Zulkifli.
"One of the cars is suspected to be carrying methamphetamine," said the Akabri graduate in 1998. To the police, the two suspects admitted that the drugs were brought by a friend who was behind them, driving the white Avanza BL 1067 F.
Police Commissioner Hadi Wahyudi said that three large black bags containing 79 kg of crystal methamphetamine were found. Furthermore, all evidence was brought to the North Sumatra Police Headquarters for legal proceedings.
