The Bandar Lampung Police Samapta Unit, together with the Lampung Police Mobile Brigade Unit and the Lampung Regional Police Samapta Directorate, carried out night patrols around the city of Bandar Lampung to ensure public safety and security in the region, Sunday (14/08/2022).
The aim for this joint patrol is to prevent thuggery and theft crimes, robbery, motor vehicle theft, and street crimes, on crime-prone places at night.
The Head Ops of the Bandar Lampung Police, Commissioner Oskar Eka Putra, and the Head of Samapta of the Bandar Lampung Police, Commissioner Suwandi, led the gathering for patrol preparations. The Lampung Police and the Lampung Police Mobile Brigade Unit were dispatched directly to the field.
The Head of Samapta unit of Bandar Lampung Police explained that this patrol activity is to suppress the criminal activity and social disturbances that often happened at night.
