One of the causes of the scarcity of subsidized fuel oil in several districts in Aceh Province is because there are still people who still use the subsidized oil even though they know it’s not for them.
Head of Public Relations of the Aceh Police, Commissioner Winardy, said that one example of the vehicle that should not use the subsidized fuel is the industrial company vehicle.
He also stated that his parties have found several industrial vehicles in West Aceh Regency who still used subsidized fuel. His personnel also already socialized regarding this issue and warned them that they will be brought to legal process if they do it again.
“We found industrial vehicles in West Aceh Regency who still used subsidized fuel. Obviously, we have warned them and if we found they do it again, we will brought them to justice,” he said in his statement in Aceh Police HQ, Thursdya (9/1).
Besides that, his party also continued their effort in socializing the rules for distributing subsidized fuel so that it is right on target. Also, Aceh Police have already deployed their personnel in gas stations so that they could monitor closely the situation.
“Of course we will continue our security and socialize operation, especially to the drivers and the gas station officers. Just like in Banda Aceh, every gas stations have been secured by our personnel to suppress the misuse of subsidized fuel,” he said.
