Aceh Police Implores the Community to Get Their Booster Vaccine

Head of Public Relations of the Aceh Police, Commissioner Winardy, appealed to the people of Aceh to immediately complete the vaccination, especially the booster or third dose. This appeal is a follow-up to the Circular Letter of the Ministry of Transportation Number 85 of 2022.

The Head of Public Relations of the Aceh Police said that booster vaccination is a serious matter that should implemented immediately.

"People who have not been vaccinated should immediately get their booster vaccines, because it has become a mandatory requirement for travelers," said the Head of Public Relations of the Aceh Police, Wednesday (19/10/22).

“Based on data from the Ministry of Health, as of October 18, 2022, only 26.35% or 1,215,020 people in Aceh have received the booster vaccine," said the Head of Public Relations of the Aceh Police in a statement.

The Head of Public Relations hopes that people who have not been vaccinated, especially boosters, will immediately do so at vaccine outlets held by the Army-Police and the Government.

In addition, the Head of Public Relations of the Aceh Regional Police also said, as of October 18, 2022, cases of livestock infected with mouth and nail disease (FMD) were reported to be zero or have fully recovered. However, he appealed to the community to remain active in taking precautions, such as cleaning and disinfecting the pen, and not allowing livestock to roam free at the moment.
