The Police Soon Will Determine the Name of the Suspects Behind the Kanjuruhan Tragedy

Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Malang.  The cases of Kanjuruhan has officially under the investigation of the police and its only a matter of time until a police revealed the name of the suspects.

There have been 29 people that have been questioned by the police investigation team regarding the Kanjuruhan tragedy. Of the 29 people, 23 of them were part of the police members and 6 others were witnesses at the scene.

The subject for the examination of the 29 witnesses included technical matters such as preparation before the match, security measures, as well as contingency, and emergency plans.

Head of the National Police Public Relations Division, Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo conveyed that the witnesses examined were witnesses from officers, the organizing committee, and the community around the crime scene.

Meanwhile, the National Police Forensic Laboratory team is still investigating six CCTV from doors 3, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13. They also, held laboratory tests for blood droplets that they found at doors 11 to 13. Investigator's examination of evidence using the scientific investigation method approach. This is done to check the accuracy and authenticity of the evidence.

Then from the Professional and Security Division of the National Police, they are still continuing to examine 29 members that are tasked in securing the match, especially those related to Police Operational Management (MOK).

The Special Inspectorate and Inspectorate of General Supervision of the National Police conducted an analysis and evaluation of the results of the Special Inspectorate examination to the Resort Police level, led by Vice Inspector of General Supervision of the National Police, Inspector General Tornagogo Sihombing, as material for examination at the Regional Police level. The plan tomorrow (Wednesday, October 5) will conduct an examination in collaboration with the Professional and Security Division of the National Police.

Regarding the development of the number of victims, both dead and injured, the National Police recorded that there were 125 dead and 467 injured, with details of 408 minor injuries, 30 moderate injuries, and 29 seriously injured. Of the hundreds of injured victims, 59 were hospitalized in 10 hospitals.
