Tribratanews.polri.go.id - The National Police Traffic Corps will optimize the use of electronic ticketing cameras or ETLE and electric vehicles for safety and security operation of the G20 Summit in Bali. They will use all ETLE cameras in Bali to monitor each area.
"This is a big step in our ways handling the traffic, by being able to take advantage of ETLE camera and monitoring the situations and conditions of the traffic," explained the Head of the Traffic Corps, Inspector General. Firman Shantyabudi, Wednesday (28/9/22).
According to the Inspector General of Firman Shantyabudi, the G20 security operation will later become a centralized operation that will involve many stakeholders. This is in line with the direction of the National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo.
"This means that the National Police Chief sees a much greater potential that we must carry out, so that we can lift this organizational structure into a centralized operation," explained the Head of Traffic Police Corps.
In securing the G20 Summit, the Traffic Corps will prioritize preventive measures such as securing and monitoring the locations, regulating, backing up activities that are contingent in nature, to disaster management. This step is taken to provide comfort and security without causing fear in the community.
