The National Police Chief, Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, emphasized that the disclosure of the shooting case of Brigadier J was the commitment of the National Police in accordance with the order of President Jokowi.
"This is also our commitment and the President's emphasis on uncovering this case quickly, transparently, and accountably," explained the National Police Chief during a press conference at the Indonesian National Police Headquarters Rupatama, last Tuesday (9/8).
According to the Chairman of the Nahdlatul Ulama (PBNU) Executive Board, Ahmad Fahrur Rozi, the Chief of Police's statement on the case that killed Brigadier J, which allegedly involved the Inspector General FS, proves that the Police are loyal to the President Joko Widodo. PBNU also supports the steps taken by the National Police Chief to thoroughly solve the shooting case involving the former Head of the Propam Division.
"We support the police's decisive steps. Anyone who helps in making the fake scenario must be investigated so that the public is satisfied with the maximum performance of the police. This is in line with the president's orders and the expectations of the wider community," said Fahrur, Thursday (11/8).
Fahrur then appreciated the firmness and courage of the National Police Chief to reveal this case firmly. He is also grateful that the truth of this case has begun to be revealed.
He explained that from the beginning the community had been suspicious of the initial scenario made up by FS. Apparently, the initial scenario, has been revealed to be fake and the truth has slowly begin to revealed.
"This teaches how important honesty is even though it hurts," he said.
