The hacker, Bjorka, who recently gone viral because they continues to publish their success in hacking several government accounts and data, are indeed concerning. Moreover, they arrogantly threaten public officials of Indonesia by publicize the data that they managed to hack. They even considered what they said to be the absolute truth.
Of course, the actions of Bjorka cannot be accepted. No one can monopolize the truth, and declare the other party to be in the wrong group. The state cannot lose to anyone, even hacker, however great they are. Moreover, hacking actually violates the law.
Measures taken by President Jokowi to invite BIN and the National Police, together with other government institutions, to fight against Bjorka, must be supported.
Communication expert, Rahmat Edi Irawan said, "State sovereignty must be upheld and we must not give in to hacker. We must be able to fight anyone who humiliates our country", said the Doctor of Communications at Binus University Jakarta.
