Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The 19th former National Police Chief, Police General Bambang Hendarso Danuri, believes the public will trust the police again in time. The retired general of the National Police also admitted that the current level of public trust in the National Police is indeed declining. This was conveyed by the former Chief of Police when he and several other former Chiefs of Police visited the National Police Headquarters.
"In the end, people will trust the police again eventually, although now, their level of trust to the police is low because of issues in the institution," he stated while at the National Police Headquarters, Thursday (27/10/2022).
The former National Police Chief representing other former Indonesian National Police Chiefs also fully supports what National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo is doing to regain public trust.
"We, the former generals of the police, and other retired officers of the police will provide our full support," he said.
In addition, Bambang asked the public to also give encouragement to the Police who are currently tried to reevaluate themselves.
