Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The videos of great fire that blazed the Jakarta Islamic Center Mosque on Wednesday (10/19) afternoon, went viral on social media. Fortunately, there were no casualties as a result of the fire. To find out the cause of the fire, the North Jakarta Police has requested the assistance of the National Police Forensic Laboratory.
"I have asked the National Police Forensi Laboratory help to investigate the fire which caused the roof of the dome collapsed," explained the Head of the North Jakarta Metro Police, Commissioner Wibowo, Wednesday.
The police chief explained that the fire engulfed the Islamic Center Mosque in the Koja at around 15:30 WIB. The incident began when workers were renovating the mosque. Police are currently asking the four workers who were present at the time of the incident.
"We have brought four workers to the headquarters for questioning. In addition, we will also ask for information from related parties in renovating the mosque," said the Police Chief.
